A great way to support our local farmers and artisans and enjoy the sights, scents and tastes of Collingwood is to visit the Farmers’ Market. Now in its 18th season, it features fresh produce, baked goods, maple syrup, honey, jams, meat, flowers and crafts. And changes to provincial regulations mean that the market will now be welcoming local craft breweries and distilleries in addition to the wineries and cideries whose products have been available previously.
Located at the corner of Second and Pine Streets in historic Downtown Collingwood, the market is open every Saturday until Thanksgiving from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Please note that COVID-19 protocols are in place to ensure a safe experience for vendors and customers. These include wearing face masks both in line and in the market area, sanitizing stations, one-way entrance with directional arrows, physical distancing, and a no pet policy.
So, get a “fresh” start to your weekend and learn about the produce and goods in our area!
