The Collingwood Summer Music Festival known for bringing Grammy and Juno-nominated classical, jazz and world music artists to our area is presenting a unique drive-in experience from July 10-16. This year, six talented Indigenous artists, three Canadian premieres, two local painters, two renowned poets, morning events for youth and a movie screening – “Rumble: The Indians Who Rocked the World” will also be featured.
You can enjoy these live world-class performances from the safety of your car with $10 from every drive-in ticket going toward the Unison Benevolent Fund, a charity that alleviates the hardships experienced by many Canadian musicians as a result of the pandemic. All drive-in events take place at New Life Church, 28 Tracey Lane in Collingwood and each performance will be projected onto a 900 square foot screen positioned in the church’s spacious parking lot. Alternatively, you can watch virtually from the comfort of your own home. The choice is yours!
