From October 28th to 31st, Fright this Way – Black Harvest returns to Downtown Collingwood with changes and additions incorporated to keep all the little ghosts and goblins safe! The new adventures celebrating the haunting season include spooky decorated business windows, the Halloween StoryWalk, a Scavenger Hunt (with three winners drawn from eligible entries) and a Costume Contest. This year participants are invited to take a photo in costume wherever they are – at home, downtown or at a park. Prizes will be awarded in various age categories from babies to 10 years of age… including a new family category.
Deadline for entry for both the Scavenger Hunt and Costume Contest is at the “witching hour” – midnight, November 1st. Please note that due to current restrictions, the usual program of trick or treating that is hosted by downtown businesses will not be taking place. This family-oriented Halloween celebration is a Collingwood tradition, join us, or else…
